Freezing may work for several parasites; however, some can withstand freezing conditions. Do not place any dcor into your kingsnakes enclosure until it is completely parasite-free.

If you opt for a big enclosure, you need to provide lots of cover for hiding areas. There are a lot of brands of dcor and fake plants that you can put to use, which are safe for your kingsnake and visually pleasing.
